Yee Woo's claim

Yee Woo and his family one night run away from the gold camps into the Siskiyou mountains. They found their way to the Klamath river and into the hands of the Karok Indian tribe. The Hamburg area is where they stayed for some time to gather enough gold to return to San Francisco.
